About Me
I am a professional South Asian seamstress who's had +30 years of experience designing and styling South Asian apparel. I got my start designing custom outfits for my daughter and her Bharatnatyam dance troupe. Since then I've helped family friends, and plenty of friends-of-friends in the Sri Lankan and Indian communities getting dressed for their special events, weddings, etc. I've also done professional contract work with vendors in the Indian wedding industry.
My expertise is in sari blouses, indian children's wear, indian dance costumes, and dressing brides for special events (weddings, mehndi ceremonies, etc.) I also do general tailoring work, for both indian and western clothing.
